Number Sense and Counting Books

We read Anno's Counting Book, a beautifully rendered book that has many details for children to find regarding the numbers 1 through 12. We read our counting books to the first graders, and they read their shape books to us. Sharing our work gives us a sense of completion and pride and is very motivating!
