The Napping House

We read The Napping House this week, and then created a picture of the scene JUST BEFORE the alert flea starts the waking up process in the house. We have begun to count up the objects and attributes in the picture together. We also had the opportunity to share our counting books with the PreK classroom. We were a big hit! I asked the K's what they had taught the preK children, and they readily said "Counting to 6!" "Numbers!" and "Counting!"
