2-D and 3-D Geometry

 This week, we learned that there were many ways to make a hexagon shape from the pattern block shapes.

 We explored 3-D shapes, in free play, with a 3-D shape hunt, and an informal "interview" complete with microphones.

 So, cube (or whatever shape you are holding in your hand), how does it feel to be a cube? Do you have straight lines or curved lines? How many sides do you have? How many corners? Do you look like anything else? What could you be a part of?
