Here We Are, Geometry

 Our introduction to geometry included books with shapes, combining shapes to make new shapes, and talking about shapes. We wrote a book about shapes, and read each page to the group. We made intricate shapes on the geoboards with rubber bands. The children are working to learn the names of each shape and to make their own shapes with lines and tracing shapes.
